When a family has chosen cremation, there are different service choices available to honor a loved one’s life.
Many families find meaning and beauty in a traditional funeral service. With a traditional service, the body is present for a viewing, visitation, or the funeral service. Instead of in-ground burial, cremation follows the service. You can then decide whether to bury or inter the remains in a columbarium, scatter them somewhere meaningful, or keep them somewhere special.
At a memorial service, the cremated remains may or may not be present. It can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue your family wishes. Our staff will guide your family in designing a service that honors your loved one with stories, music, or scripture. We also have life celebrants who can lead services where clergy may not be chosen.
A graveside or committal service is typically held immediately following the funeral service, but it can also be a small intimate gather of those closest to you.
