Vinessa Lozano

Vinessa Victoria Lozano was born June 2, 1993, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Eric & Robin Lozano. She moved, with her family, to Montevideo in 2006. She played volleyball in junior high, worked at Pizza Ranch and was active on the yearbook staff during high school. Vinessa graduated from the Montevideo High School in 2011. She started working at Luther Haven Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant in October of 2011. She was a student at Minnesota West Community and Technical College at the Granite Falls Campus.Vinessa passed away on January 13, 2012, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. She was 18 years of age.She is survived by her son Carson; fiancé Jacob Janisch; parents: Robin (Dalton) Savoy of Montevideo and Eric (special friend Alicia Munoz) Lozano of Willmar; siblings: Vincent Lozano; Emmitt Lozano; Dalton Savoy IV and Colton Savoy all of Montevideo; Terrance Savoy; Ryan Savoy and Heather Savoy all of Willmar; Erika Lozano and Eric Lozano, Ashley, Orlando & Eddie Jr. Munoz all of Willmar; maternal grandmother Paula Paradee of Sacred Heart and paternal grandparents Irma & Juan Lozano of Willmar; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.She was preceded in death by her grandfather Velyndon Paradee and her uncle Ricky Lozano.
