Vera Vergina Kvanli was born June 1, 1919 in Milan the daughter of Melvin and Nella �Amy� Angrimson. She passed away October 9, 2012 in Montevideo as a resident of Luther Haven Nursing Home. She grew up and attended school in the Montevideo area and graduated from Montevideo High School. On September 24, 1938 Vera was united in marriage to Arvid Kvanli at the Lutheran Church parsonage in Watson. To this union four children were born. Vera worked in the restaurant business as a co-manager of the Café in Madison, Loti�s Café and later the Park Hotel along with Arvid. Vera was known for her baking and enjoyed cooking for her family. She enjoyed music and in her younger years especially loved to dance. Her high school yearbook reads: �Have you danced with her? �Nuff said�. Vera is survived by her children: Joan (Richard) Sargent of Mountain Lake; Lee (Marilyn) Kvanli of Montevideo; Cheryl (Darrin) Hatletvedt of Montevideo; grandchildren: Debbie (Jim) Warwick, Tammy (Brad) Freitag, Troy Sargent, Laura (Michael) Ruzicka, Kristine Kvanli, Heather Knutson, and Nicole Knutson; 9 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; brother: Ellsworth Angrimson of Riverside, California; sisters: Leona (George) Poier of Alexandria; Diane (Delaine) Christenson of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband Arvid in 2006, son Brian in 2008, parents: Melvin and Amy, and a brother Vernon Angrimson.
