Timothy Vorvick was born Nov. 11, 1959 in Litchfield to David Allen and Donna Mae Vorvick. He grew up in Montevideo. Tim was a graduate of Montevideo High School in 1978. He graduated from Canby Vocational-Technical College in 1983 with a degree in Auto Mechanics. On May 10, 1980, he married Kelly Owens in Montevideo. This union was blessed with two children ? daughter Bobbi Jo Vorvick and son Nicholas Allen Vorvick. In 1985 Tim moved to the Twin Cities. On April 13, 1991, he married Lynn Boldan in Richfield, MN, and they resided in Champlin until 2009. This union was blessed with two children ? daughter, Kirsten May Vorvick, and son, Seth Allen Vorvick.Tim worked for 21 years as a mechanic at various Midas Muffler shops. Tim also owned an after-market automotive distribution business for two years and worked as an underground line inspector until his death.Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He especially enjoyed deer hunting every November in northern Minnesota with family and friends. Nothing got him more excited than seeing the antlers or the flag of a whitetail deer on a cold frosty morning. His deer hunting enthusiasm was evidenced by the sets of antlers adorning his residence walls. Tim is survived by his four children: Bobbi Jo Vorvick of Montevideo, Nicholas (Stephanie Jo) Vorvick of Dawson, Kirsten and Seth Vorvick, both of Hudson, WI; three grand children - granddaughter Toni Alexandra Vorvick of Montevideo and grandsons Landen Allen and Maxx Allen Vorvick, both of Dawson; and four siblings - sister, Lorie (Scott) Johnson of New Hope, MN; sister, Kristi (Tom) Warner of Montevideo; brother, Rick (Sarah) Vorvick of Sioux Falls, SD; and sister, Kathy (Tom) Cudahy of Arden Hills, MN; 16 nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews; and his parent, Lou Coubal of Montevideo. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Coubal, his father David Vorvick, one grandson Lucas Richard Vorvick, and his grandparents Albert and Gladys Vorvick and Delmer (Robin) and Marie Nelson. Tim was very proud of his family and enjoyed any opportunity to be with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He is loved and will be greatly missed.
