Tamara Creola Quigley, age 75, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Tami was born January 15, 1944, the daughter of Ruessell and Hazel Rick, in Clark County, South Dakota. Her family moved to Montevideo when she was a child and she received her education in Montevideo.
Tami was united in marriage to Lyle Quigley on December 17, 1961, at the Watson Lutheran Church in Watson, Minnesota. The couple made their home first in Iowa and later moved back to the Montevideo and were blessed with three children, Jamie, Kyle and Todd. She worked at Innovex in Montevideo until retiring to Glenwood, Minnesota to live on the lake. Tami was a member at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and served with the Ladies Aid.
Tami enjoyed knitting, needlepoint and shopping. She loved the outdoors and when she moved to her home on the lake, she was definitely “home.”
Tami is survived by her son, Todd Quigley (special friend, Tara Young) of Rapid City, SD; grandson, Cameron Quigley of Mitchell, SD; granddaughter, Carson Quigley of Tea, SD; brother, Maurice (Ardyss) Rick of Webster, SD; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tami was preceded in death by her parents, Ruessell and Hazel Rick; husband, Lyle Quigley; son, Kyle Quigley; daughter, Jamie Bauer; son-in-law, Larry Bauer; grandson, Lucas Bauer; siblings, Keith, Gerald, Floyd, George and VaDonna.
Private services will be held and burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo, Minnesota.
