Steve Brendmoen

Steve was born on Jan. 3, 1953, in Anchorage, AK, the son of Raymond & Shirley (Sandness) Brendmoen. He spent his youth in Valley City, ND and moved to Granite Falls, MN as a teenager.
Steve was united in marriage to Kelly Olson on June 27, 1987 and they made their home in Montevideo, MN. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all, music. He was an active member of the local music scene and was a well respected guitarist. He played in several local bands, including Sidestreet, Rapid Fire, Goodtime Railraod, Wanted, the Strollers and the Shoes. Steve was a talented artist and particularly enjoyed woodworking. He was happiest when spending time with his children, granddaughter and his cat, Oliver.
He is survived by his wife Kelly of Montevideo,MN; daughters Haley (& Tony) Heberle of Burnsville, MN and Taylor (& Christian Amigon) Brendmoen of Bloomington, MN; granddaughter Lucy Haberle of Bursnville, MN; daughters Heidi Pena and Tatum Pacheco of Merced, CA; his mother Shirley Johnson of Willmar, MN and many in-laws, nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Rick Brendmoen; his maternal grandparents Arnold and Julia Sandness and many beloved friends.
