Stephanie Labatte

Stephanie Paige LaBatte was born on January 14, 1984 in Granite Falls, MN to Reginald Wayne LaBatte and Heidi Kay Wilson. Stephanie was called to the Spirit World on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was 30 years old.Stephanie attended school at Bert Raney Elementary and Yellow Medicine East. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith. Stephanie really enjoyed her culture, fishing, spending time with family and friends, good music, she loved kids, and she always kept up with her appearance. Stephanie had a fabulous sense of humor and a big heart. Her passion was being with her family, especially her siblings and her nephew, Jesus Jr. She was extremely proud of being a "LaBatte" and of being Dakota. Over Stephanie's lifetime, she truly touched a lot of lives and created many wonderful memories. She is survived by four sisters-Jocelyn LaBatte (Jesus Jr.) of Granite Falls, MN, Autumn LaBatte of Granite Falls, MN, Genevieve (Guardipee) Cordova of Pueblo, CO, Currine Guardipee of Pueblo, CO, and Alexis LaBatte of Saint Paul, MN; two brothers-Gordon LaBatte Jr. of Granite Falls, MN and Reginald Guardipee of Granite Falls, MN; step-father- Gordon LaBatte Sr. of Clarkfield, MN; a special uncle and aunt-Loren and Amy LaBatte of Granite Falls, MN; a special nephew-Jesus Contreras Jr. of Granite Falls, MN; grandmother-Muriel Hawkins of International Falls, MN; and many extended family. She was preceded in death by her mom Heidi (Wilson) LaBatte, her dad Reginald LaBatte, grandfather Wayne LaBatte, Grandmother Camilla Wilson, great-grand parents Walter and Genevieve LaBatte, special aunt Debra LaBatte, and two cousins-Gerrod Leenerts and Dustin Randt.
