Sharon Geer, age 77, of Granite Falls, passed away peacefully while resting comfortably surrounded by her children and grandchildren Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Granite Falls Care Center.
Sharon Kay Geer was born October 1, 1941, the daughter of Lester and Alvera Oehler. Sharon was a fiercely independent soul who never gave in and refused to accept defeat. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, puzzles, Bingo, and spending time with family. Sharon touched many lives as a mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She continued to impact those around her in her work as a nurse’s aid and home health care provider and in the multitude of friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Sharon lived a full life and will be sorely missed.
Sharon is survived by sons, David and Lester; daughters, Cindy and Barb; grandchildren, Jenny, Danny, Cassie, Tyler, Dillion, AJ, Timmy, Nicky, Joel, Lily and Sophie; great grandchildren, Anna, Belle, Joy; sisters, Shirley and Suzann; brother, Kevin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny, Mary, Lyle and Jenny; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Lester; mother, Alvera; son, Tony; brother, Earl.
