Scott Arends

Scott David Arends was born on May 10, 1972 in Montevideo, MN the son of Dennis and Gloria (Winters) Arends. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo and attended Montevideo Public Schools. Scott was employed for 13 years as a mechanic with Steve's Equipment in Montevideo and for the past 8 years, worked on the night maintenance crew at Jennie-O Food Processing in Montevideo. He enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities including hunting, four wheeling, fishing, BBQing and gardening. He was an official at the Fiesta Speedway race track and loved spending time with his two girls and family. On Friday July 24, while a patient at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, Scott was called from this life due to complications of injuries he received in an ATV accident near his home on July 18. He was 37 years of age. Surviving family include his daughters- Daytona and Abigale; his fiancé Mickie Miller; one brother- Randy (& Jodi) Arends of Madison, MN; and his sister- Daniella (& Matt) Schroeder of Montevideo, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
