Sandra Keding

Sandra Lynn Â?SandyÂ? Keding, was born on August 21, 1962, in Montevideo, MN, the daughter of Floyd H. and Janice L. Olson. She was baptized at Our SaviorÂ?s Lutheran Church in Montevideo and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Our SaviorÂ?s Lutheran Church in May of 1977. She was a 1980 graduate of Montevideo Senior High School. On April 13, 2006, Sandy was united in marriage to Larry Keding in Watertown, SD. She was employed by MTI in Montevideo for approximately 23 years. She was a gifted pool player, an accomplished bowler and dearly loved to watch her Minnesota Vikings. She also cherished time spent with her son, Quinton, her family and many friends. Sandy will always be remembered for her upbeat spirit and willingness to help anyone who needed assistance.In the evening hours of Monday, December 23, 2013, Sandy was called from this life at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital after a long and hard fought battle against cancer. She was 51 years of age. Sandy is survived by her husband Larry Keding of Montevideo; her son Quinton also of Montevideo; her mother Janice (& Tom) Helbling of St. Cloud; step daughters Stacy Keding of Indianapolis, IN; Melissa Keding of Montevideo; step son-in-law Paul LePlae of Indianapolis, IN; step granddaughters Madeline & Oliva LePlae both of Indianapolis, IN; sisters Linda (& Bill) Christiansen of Waseca, and Barb Butzin of Granite Falls; brothers Doug (& Jodi) Olson of Tucson, AZ, David (& Judy) Olson of Dawson, Bill (& Bev) Olson of Montevideo, and Craig (& Stacy) Olson & Keith (& Stacy) Olson all in Montevideo; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her father; an infant sister Cheri Lynn; her paternal and maternal grandparents; a step daughter Lisa Keding and numerous aunts and uncles.
