Roy Fischer

Roy Lynn Fischer was born February 1, 1962, the son of Henry and Mary Ann (Ammermann) Fischer, in Willmar, Minnesota. He graduated from the Clara City High School in 1980 and attended the Granite Falls Vocational Technical College for two years, where he studied Fluid Power. He worked in sales and service for SunSource out of the Houston office. Roy enjoyed car racing, traveling, grilling out and visiting with family and friends. He loved being outdoors and was also a mentor for troubled youth. Roy passed away, due to heart failure, on February 21, 2008, at the Methodist Hospital Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was 46 years old. He is survived by his siblings: Mike (Colleen) Fischer of Clara City; Mark (Darla) Fischer of Prinsburg; Brad (Mary) Fischer of LaPorte; Brian Fischer; Rick Fischer and Melissa Fischer all of Clara City; three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Bonnie Fischer.
