Rosella Bruner, age 75, of Montevideo passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at CCM Health. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Visitation will continue Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. 

Rosella Mae Bruner was born January 13, 1949 to Harvey and Arlie (Sivertson) Bruner in Milbank, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith. The family moved to Wisconsin and Rosella attended school there for a few years. At the age of ten she developed a serious illness that led to complications throughout her life. 

Rosella enjoyed her job at DAC for several years, and continued to work there when they became CEI. Rosella liked to ride bike and play cards, bingo and other games. Throughout her life she always had a dog and especially enjoyed miniature poodles. Family meant the world to Rosella and her family thought the same about her. She loved all her nieces and nephews, seeing them at family gatherings and giving them gifts. Her outgoing and loving personality will be greatly missed.

Rosella is survived by her sister, Barbara Campbell of Dawson; brother, Timothy (Cheryl Gave) Bruner of Cambridge; nieces and nephews, Rob (Laura) Bruner, Rick (Mechele) Bruner; Nathan (Erin) Bruner, Lisa (Ben) Campbell, Eric (Dana) Campbell, Travis (Melissa) Campbell, Ryan (Kristi) Campbell, Elizabeth (Kyle) Bruner, Erin (Mustafa) Schabazz; 27 great-nieces and nephews; best friend, Tammy Irwin-Sik; as well as many cousins and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Arlie; brother, Michael Bruner; and her grandparents.
