RoseDelle LaVonne Andert was born April 8, 1937, the daughter of Clifford & Ellen Peterson, in Lac qui Parle Village. She graduated from the Milan High School. Rose was united in marriage to Myron "Butch" Andert on December 22, 1977 in Watertown, South Dakota. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and decorating cakes. Rose and Butch loved going to the races in Alexandria. Rose worked as a secretary for Pluswood in Montevideo, the Yellow Medicine County Bank and most recently at Gilby's Carwash before she retired. She is survived by her children Kem (Joyce) Black of Sacred Heart; Kari (Chuck) Twedt and Kelly (Richard) Schulte both of Granite Falls; seven grandchildren: Kandi (Cody) Hess; Krystal (Dave) Lien; Amber Twedt (special friend Caleb Christenson); Megan Schulte (fiancé Dustin Stone); Melissa Schulte (special friend Travis Bavier); Sabrina (Shawn) Hagen and Katerina Penske; ten great grandchildren: Bree, Noah, Davyn, Dysan, Brayden, Cheyenne, Ariel, Tristan, Logan & Zandra; her siblings: Orton (Tinkie) Peterson of Arizona; Curtis (Avis) Peterson of Watson; Tootsie (Sam) Anderson and Elvin (Marlene) Peterson all of Granite Falls; and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2009; infant son Cal; grandson Dustin Twedt in 2004 and two brothers: Lyle and Philip.
