Ronald Bennett

Ronald Lynn Bennett was born November 7, 1955, the son of Clair & Leona (Mills) Bennett in Virginia, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Benson. He attended school in Benson and graduated from Virginia High School. Ron served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge he worked in the auto body industry.
Ron always enjoyed cooking and later in life he followed his passion and was employed as a cook. He was known for his delicious salads and his grilled burgers. Ron also enjoyed watching ballgames, auto racing and fishing. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother Leona Ostenso of Montevideo, brother Robert (Lora) Bennett of Virginia, God Mother Myrtle Hilleren of Benson and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Clair Bennett and his brother Richard Bennett.
