Robyn “Robbie” Baldwin, age 51, of Clarkfield, Minnesota passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Avera Granite Falls Hospital. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Multi-Purpose Building in the Upper Sioux Community. Interment will follow in the Yellow Medicine Nation Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Robyn Lynn Baldwin was born on April 8, 1971 in Sisseton, South Dakota, the daughter of James Mulligan and Barbara (Blue) Mulligan. She graduated from Montevideo with the Class of 1990 and then attended Granite Falls Vo-Tech School for a degree as a Medical Secretary, graduating in 1992.
Robbie worked at the Firefly Casino as a security guard, then worked as a secretary for the Upper Sioux Housing Authority. She became a mother to Chase in 1998 and enjoyed watching him grow up. She was united in marriage to Chris Baldwin in 2015 and became a homemaker.
Robbie loved to garden and enjoyed canning pickles, beets, salsa and tomatoes. She loved to read recipes and became a great cook who loved to grill. Robbie enjoyed playing Buck with family and friends. She also loved ice fishing and just plain fishing. She loved animals and had many pets through the years. She will be remembered as a spitfire.
Robbie is survived by her husband, Chris Baldwin of Clarkfield; son, Chase Buchmann of Montevideo; mother, Barb Mulligan of Montevideo; father, James Mulligan of Montevideo; mother-in-law, Gail Baldwin; stepchildren, Cassie Baldwin, Jake (Bailey) Baldwin; 3 step grandchildren; siblings, Kami (Tad) Tanhoff, James (significant other, Sarah Furado) Mulligan; brothers-in-law, Tim Baldwin, Keith Baldwin, Wayne Baldwin; as well as other relatives and friends.
Robbie is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Arthur Baldwin.
