Robin Blue

Robin Cornell Blue was born September1, 1948, in Sisseton, South Dakota, the son of Oliver and Priscilla (LaBatte) Blue. He was baptized at St. Mary’s in South Dakota in 1948. He graduated from the Granite Falls High School in 1966 and attended Dunwoody prior to serving his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, serving in Vietnam. Robin worked at the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative in Renville. He loved playing golf, pool and cribbage and visiting with friends and relatives.
Robin passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at his residence. He was 68 years of age.
He is survived by his sons: Tremayne (Prairie Carlson) Blue of Granite Falls; Shawn Blue of Montevideo; step-daughter Tawnya (Scott Anspach) Anderson of Montevideo; two sisters: Barb Mulligan of Granite Falls and Georgia Bird of Watertown, South Dakota; 7 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Harriet & Fred Blue and Hannah Cloutier, siblings: Elroy Blue, Cleo Mulligan, Gary LaBatte, and a niece Lynn Rondell.
