Richard Weckwerth

Richard Eugene Weckwerth was born October 8, 1964, the son of Carl & Ruby (Christianson) Weckwerth in Granite Falls. He graduated from the Montevideo High School in 1982. Richard attended college and lived in Texas for a time before returning to Minnesota, where he worked in Minneapolis. For the last 13 years he worked in Montevideo at MTI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and mountain biking as well as music.
Richard is survived by his daughter Jackie (Scott) Hickey of Montevideo; mother Ruby (Barry) Lokken of Appleton; brother Wesley (Pam) Weckwerth of Watson, nieces and nephews: Willow (Arturo) Chapa of Minneapolis, Steven (Chantel) Weckwerth of Montevideo and Joey (Ashley) Weckwerth of Hutchinson; and extended family and friends.

Richard Weckwerth, 54, passed away on December 24th. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 2 pm at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Montevideo for Richard Weckwerth.
