Richard Edwin Dailey was born on August 13, 1931, in Osakis, the son of Charles & Delia (McCommas) Dailey. He attended school in Osakis. Richard was a professional truck driver most of his life. He retired from Tersteeg Trucking in 2009. Richard was united in marriage to Judy Jarveis on November 22, 1986, in Willmar. Richard loved camping, fishing and antiquing. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren. Richard passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the Renvilla Care Center in Renville. He was 81 years of age. He is survived by his wife Judy of Clara City; six children: Bonnie (Jim) Bohen of St. Paul; Steve (Judi) Dailey of Bloomington; Sam (Sue) Dailey of East Bethel; Charles (Kathy) Dailey of Minneapolis; Tracy (Brent) Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; Lisa (Leonard) Horn of Alexandria, Nebraska; four step children: Jason Jarveis of Prinsburg; Brian (Kristi) Jarveis; Jeremy Jarveis of Orlando, Florida; and David Jarveis of Mississippi; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one brother Dennis (Audrey) Dailey of Sauk Rapids; special aunt Grayce Hughes of Osakis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dogs Sophie & Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Margaret Flynn and Ione Muyres and a daughter-in-law Lisa Jarveis.
