Paul Brendmoen

January 1, 1753 — February 27, 2009

Paul Kerry Brendmoen was born on Nov. 12, 1954 in Valley City, North Dakota, the son of Raymond and Shirley Brendmoen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith in Valley City and graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1973. He worked for a while and then attended and graduated from Granite Falls Vo-Tech in 1980 as a machinist. Paul moved to Phoenix, AZ where he was employed as a machinist and tool & die manufacturer. He moved back to Minnesota in 1990 and for the last twenty years, lived in Alexandria, MN and was employed by Douglas Machine Company in Alexandria. Paul liked to fish, hunt, read books, go camping and loved to watch the Vikings- win or lose. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Due to his failing health, Paul had moved to his brother's home in Montevideo. He died peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday February 27, 2009 at the age of 54 years. He is survived by his mother and step-father- Shirley (& Willis) Johnson of Willmar, MN; his brothers- Steven (& Kelly) Brendmoen of Montevideo, MN and Mark Brendmoen of Scottsdale, AZ; two nieces- Haley Brendmoen of Minneapolis, and Taylor Brendmoen of Montevideo. He was preceded in death by a brother- Rick Alan Brendmoen in Oct. of 2007.
