Pamela Loken, 63, of Granite Falls, passed away Wednesday, July 28th at the Granite Falls Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Monday August 16th at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Cottonwood. Visitation will be held Sunday August 15th from 2 to 4 pm with a prayer service at 3:30 pm at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Pamela Gail Loken was born September 20, 1957, the daughter of Virgil & Gail (Sherman) Waller in Granite Falls. She was baptized and confirmed at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. She graduated from the Granite Falls High School in 1976. She continued her education at the Granite Falls Vo-Tech where she received an accounting degree.

Pam moved to Minneapolis where she worked in the IDS Tower following college. She returned to Granite Falls and was employed at Plews for a number of years. Pam was united in marriage to Lawrence Loken on September 6, 1980, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo. To this union one daughter Catherine was born. Later in life she went back to work at the Yellow Medicine School and retired in 2013. Pam loved going hunting and fishing with Larry, playing penuckle with her brothers and playing cards with Catie and her friends. She was active with the Riverbend Church Retreat and Residence Encounter Christ. Pam also volunteered at church events and in the Granite Falls community. In retirement she truly loved babysitting for her honorary grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her daughter Catie of Granite Falls; siblings: Brian (Debbie) Waller of Granite Falls, Kevin (Kathi) Waller of Shakopee, Craig (Darcee) Waller of Hutchinson; nephews and nieces: Nathan, Jon, Tim, Jake, Sarah, Tiffany, John & Sam; aunts & uncle; Les & Renee Sherman of Granite Falls and Arlene Waller of Granite Falls; great nieces and nephews: Jordan, Daniel, Kevin, Maddie, Mason, Charlie, Layton and Laila; honorary grandchildren: Kendon, Brianna, Shelby & Jaiden Wangen, Kaylee & Emily Seizler; cousins and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, in-laws LeRoy & Doloris Loken, sister-in-law Bev Loken, and aunts and uncles.
