Nicole Rae Ruff

Nicole Rae Ruff, 44, a twenty- two year, resident of Granite Falls, MN., and formerly of Martin, SD., passed away on Monday February 20, 2017, at her home, from an unexpected medical condition.
Nicole was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on October 17, 1972. She was raised by her beloved Grandmother, Louise Ruff in Martin, SD., where Nicole graduated from Bennet County High School. She went on to attend college at Dakota Wesleyan College, National College and later attending Minnesota West Community College where she received her Associates of Arts as a medical assistant. Nicole was employed at the Granite Falls Hospital, Bert Raney Elementary School and at the time of her passing Granite Run Golf Course.
Nicole was a very caring, loving and dedicated mother to her children, Skyee and Brylea, whom were her most precious world.
A few novels could be written about Nicole’s short life. Her humor and wittiness were infectious. A gloomy room could be brightened
Nicole is survived by her son Skyee James Ruff and her daughter Brylea Louise Ruff-Mulligan of Granite Falls, MN.; sister, Toni Ruff of Rapid City, SD., niece, Hailey Marie Ruff of Watertown, SD., and best friend (thick as mud) Kristi Klassen of Granite Falls, MN.; Aunts & uncles; Jane Harrowa of Fernley, NV., Billie Black of Aberdeen, SD., Bobbie Pond of Pine Ridge, SD., Iva Jo (Sonny) Ruff of Martin, SD., Lola Lessert of Rapid City, SD., Emma (Roger) Hutchesen of Aberdeen, SD., and Charlotte (Paul) Ruff of Rapid City, SD,; and countless cousins that were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise Ruff and four uncles; Sonny Ruff, Paul Ruff, Lester Lessert and Donald Black.
