Nanet Elizabeth Larson was born on October 28, 1928, in Brainerd, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Virginia Warner. She was baptized in Brainerd on November 27, 1928, at the Methodist Church and confirmed in the Christian faith in Montevideo at Grace Episcopal Church on October 19, 1961. Following high school, Nanet attended St. Catherine University from 1946 � 1948 and continued her education at Hamline University in 1949. On June 10, 1950, Nanet was united in marriage to John D. Larson in Perham. Nan was a loving mother and devoted wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their lake cabin, playing bridge, having lunch with friends, reading, shopping and watching the History Channel. She was called from this life peacefully in the loving presence of her family on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. She was 82 years of age. Surviving family include her daughter Pamela Greden of Hinckley; her sons Neil (& Debbie) Larson of Montevideo and James (& Brenda) Larson of Alexandria; 9 grandchildren- Lara (& Bruno) Miller, Kristi (& Cory) Stanley, Ellen (& Andrew) Bösl, Beth (& Josh) Dack, Karl Greden, Cal (& Amy) Larson, Leesa Larson and Madison Larson; 7 great grandchildren- Brynn Stanley, Raegan Stanley, Cooper Dack, Brody Dack, Nolan Bösl, Bruno Xavier Miller and Ross Stanley; her sister Jean (& Ray) Schmitz; her brother Gary (Sue) Warner; a sister-in-law Helen Jane Hausler and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law James Greden and sisters-in-laws.
