Nancy Setzer

Nancy Jane Setzer was born on January 30, 1933, in Montevideo, MN, the daughter Floyd and Helen Paulson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith in Montevideo and graduated from high school in Montevideo. For many years, Nancy was employed by the Honeywell Corporation in Minneapolis, MN. She began work with Honeywell as a secretary and receptionist, eventually achieving the position of engineering assistant. During her career, she was involved with numerous high priority projects involving the Boeing Aircraft Division. Following her retirement, Nancy returned to Montevideo. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and giving of her time to the First Congregational Church in Montevideo. In order to be closer to her family, Nancy had resided near the Minneapolis area. She passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. She was 77 years of age. Surviving family include her children- Debora Dibble (& special friend Dana White) of Albertville, MN; Dann Setzer of Hudson, WI and David Setzer of Coon Rapids, MN; a sister- Judy Henson of Palm Springs, CA; a brother- Tom Paulson of Park Rapids, MN; 10 grandchildren- Jeremy, Tara, Melanie, Adam, Alex, Seth, Hayley, Clint, Jim & Joshua; 11 great grandchildren- Samaira, Rochelle, Ethan, Eric, Jessa, Victor, Maddie, Michael, Carter, Bella & Jamison; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and four children- Becky, Jodi, Darcy & Chris.
