Myra Buss

Myra Jean Buss was born December 11, 1944, the daughter of Clarence & Martha Vande Steeg, in Prinsburg. She graduated from the Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg in 1962. Myra worked for her uncle at Van's Jewelry in Willmar and later worked for Murphy Finance.Myra was united in marriage to Everett Buss on May 5, 1967, at the Prinsburg Christian Reformed Church. Together they farmed near Clara City. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing and knitting. She was a member of the Bethany Quilters and the Busy Hoe Garden Club. Myra passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Bethesda Health Center in Willmar. She was 65 years of age.She is survived by her husband Everett; three children: Lyle (Eileen) Buss of Gainesville, Florida; Jenny (Ryan) Habbena of New Port; and Wade (Shannon) Buss of Clara City; her mother Martha of Prinsburg; five grand children; three brothers: Kenny (Julie) Vande Steeg of Big Lake; Larry (Jodi) Vande Steeg of Willmar and Marlin Vande Steeg of Hutchinson; and several extended family and friends.She was preceded in death by her father Clarence.
