Myles Gulden

Myles Gulden, age 75, of Renville, formerly of Sacred Heart and Kandiyohi, died Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the RenVilla Health Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Hawk Creek Lutheran Church in Sacred Heard. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church, and a light lunch will be served after the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Myles Paul Gulden was born on January 28, 1947, in Montevideo, Minnesota, the son of Elvin and Amy Gulden. He grew up in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1965. Myles worked a wide variety of jobs, from hair stylist to turkey barn employee, but his true passion was raising dogs, which he did for many years near Kandiyohi. Myles was previously married to Susan Gulden, and he was a member of the Hawk Creek Lutheran Church. Myles enjoyed gardening, spending time with his dogs and many friends (sometimes in that order), listening to all kinds of good music, visiting his grandchildren, and watching classic TV.
Myles also loved helping others, whether by delivering food to those in need or making lefse at church. He was a true friend to many, a loving and creative person, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his four sons, Cameron (and Krista) of Reno, NV, Cass (and Tonia) of Albany, CA, Jesse (and Lisa) of Willmar, and Graham of Atlanta, GA; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Dean (and Jean) of Vadnais Heights, MN; best friends, Paul and Pam; besides other relatives and friends.
Myles was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Neil.
