Mitchell Harlan Pederson was called home on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was born in Montevideo to Albie and Beulah Pederson. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He graduated from Montevideo Senior High School in 1974. During those days, he enjoyed playing football and basketball. Mitch's careers consisted of working at the Old Ford Factory, welding and driving truck. But during the last several years, he loved owning his own business of building grain bins. He loved spending time with his family. Riding his Harley Davidson on the open road, he enjoyed feeling free of everything. Mitch also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports on TV. He especially loved it when his family was all together at his house, sitting around the table playing cards, laughing and joking together.He is survived by his two daughters: Misty (Chris) Hansen of Madison and Amber (Nate) Samuelson of Odonville, Alabama; his son Ryan Pederson of Aberdeen, SD; 3 grandchildren: Zacharee, Carter and Kennadi; 2 sisters: Pat (Ardy) Prekker and Cindy (John) Stranlund; 1 niece, 4 nephews along with numerous extended family and friend Amber Sharp. Mitch was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
