Michaela Busenbark

Michaela Lynn Busenbark was born June 30th, 1991 in Auburn, Washington, to Darryl Busenbark and Doreen Velde (Hanson). She was baptized on Nov 22, 1998 at Rock Valle Lutheran Church in Echo Mn and was confirmed May of 2009.Besides spending time with her family she was active in Sunday school at Rock Valle Church and BPA at MN West. Drawing was her passion. She was always seen with her sketch pad in her lap, always creating what she had seen. She loved sightseeing and traveling. She looked at life as one big adventure. She could be seen walking with her friends or down by the river watching the water. She enjoyed the downtown popcorn stand. She really enjoyed being with children. It wasn't unusual to see her playing Lego's with a 9 year old or playing tea party with her niece. She recently, after having been diagnosed with epilepsy, joined any program she could about epilepsy. She loved researching anything. She was an avid reader throughout her life and she had accumulated many books.Michaela battled for life at North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis after receiving injuries in an automobile accident near Belview on August 3rd. After eight days, she lost that fight. She was 20 years old. She is survived by her mother and step dad, Doreen and Warren Velde of Granite Falls, her father Darryl Busenbark and his special friend Belle Milner, Granite Falls, her special friend Joe Ward, Glenwood, MN, her sisters Alexis (Jay) Busenbark , Redwood Falls, MN, Ashleigh (Shawn) Neuman, Granite Falls, MN, Brooklyn Busenbark, Granite Falls, MN, Deb Velde, Sioux Falls, SD and her brother Mike (Heather) Velde, Sartell, MN, her nieces Sydney Scherr and Allie Neuman and nephew Cody Ranschau, her maternal grandmother Helen Hanson from Jeffers MN, her fraternal grandparents Susan and Mike Shelly from Apachie Junction Az, Rick Busenbark of Bend Oregon, Great Grandma Evelyn Heggen from Tacoma Wa, great grandpa Bob Busenbark from Bend Oregon and a whole bunch of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Donald Hanson, her Uncle Wayne Hanson, her little cousin Ashlee Beesley, Great Grandpa Haggen, Great Grandma Busenbark, Great Grandma Corinne, Great Grandma Mary and cousin Dean Resop.
