May Ager

April 15, 1928 — January 17, 2014

May Drager was born April 15, 1928 in Virginia, Minnesota to Frank and Ana Korpi. May was the middle child of 8 children which included the first set of triplets that were born in Minnesota. May and the triplets were placed in an orphanage and later was separated from them to different towns. Not until 1962 was she then reunited with family, right before mother died. May lived most of her life in Wells, Minnesota where she and her husband raised 5 children of their own and she was part of many more children's lives through over 30 years of daycare. May was famous for her cooking, caring for children, enjoyed reading books, loved country music, especially Alan Jackson, and loved spending her time with her grandchildren, which included almost every day with Samuel and Lacie. May moved to Montevideo in 2002 where she spent the last 11 years in the Luther Haven Nursing Home. During that time, May and Darla spent almost every day laughing and loving life together.May will be lovingly remembered by her children Cher (Joe) Janecek of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Jim (Linda) Drager of Atkin, Minnesota, Dave ( Diane) Drager of Hector, Minnesota, Darla Drager of Montevideo, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and 2 children. Jon in 2008 and Doreen in 1964. May was dearly loved and will be very deeply missed by her family and friends. Blessed be her memory.
