Born August 15, 1932 in Maywood, CA to Margaret and Roscoe R. St. John. He passed on to Glory on February 27, 2013 in Brainerd, MN with his family by his side. Marshall (Mike) St.John is survived by his wife Margaret Ann St.John, his children and spouses Marshall Robert St.John Jr. (Tracy) of Oakley, California, Yvonne St.John-Dutra (Rich) of Martinez, California, Kimberly Sue Kelm (James) of Duluth, Minnesota, and Rochelle St.John Ruiz (John Paul) of Nisswa, Minnesota. Mike and Margaret were blessed with nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Mike was the youngest child with two older brothers and an older sister. He and his family moved to Oregon when he was young. Mike had fond memories of his teenage years where he spent much time on The Rogue River. He served in the United States Navy on the aircraft carrier, The USS Yorktown. Mike married Margaret Hubel, then moved to California where they raised their four children. He was a contractor then a Chief Building Inspector for Contra Costa County, CA. In 1991, Mike and Margaret retired and moved to Outing, MN to enjoy lake living. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, bird watching and making many treasures out of wood. He was very active in the church and The Cursillo Movement. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A very generous, kind, honoring, adventurous, fun person he was loved by both family and friends. He will sincerely be missed.
