Marian Lutterman

Marian Leone Lutterman was born May 17, 1934 in Milbank, South Dakota the daughter of Joseph and Harriet (Green) Pepka. She passed away February 17, 2016 in Granite Falls at the Granite Manor.
She was baptized and confirmed at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank. Marian grew up in Milbank, attended St. Lawrence Catholic School and graduated from Milbank High School in 1953. Following graduation, she worked at Prudential in Minneapolis.
On February 20, 1954 Marian was united in marriage to Delmer Lutterman at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. To this union four children were born.
Marian was a stay at home mom and cared for the children while the family lived in Russel, Madison, and Marshall. She went to work as a teachers aid for the Marshall School District retiring in 1992. She moved to Granite Falls in 2010.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts, playing the piano and going to dances. Marian and Del also like to travel and spent winters in Alamo, Texas and summers at Lake Amelia.
Marian is survived by her children: Doug (Deb) of Sloan, Iowa; Brad (Deb) of Mineral Point, Wisconsin; Kris (Bob) Danielowski of Granite Falls; Tim (Patricia) of Marshall; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delmer in 2014, parents: Joseph and Harriet Pepka, and a brother Francis Pepka.
