Margaret “Peg” Condon, wife of Thomas Condon, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Clara Catholic Church in Clara City. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Margaret Ann Tait was born on April 8, 1942, and grew up on a farm near Kandiyohi, MN. She graduated from Atwater High School and later earned a degree in cosmetology from Willmar Technical Institute.
On June 6, 1964, Peg married Thomas Condon at St. Patrick’s Church in Kandiyohi, MN. Together, they raised a family and shared many cherished memories. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas, and their children: Bob (Kathy), Mary (Scott), Beth (Gjon), Mike (Aline), and Ryan (Amanda).
Peggy was a dedicated professional and worked at the telephone company in Willmar before pursuing a career in cosmetology. She later became a Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, a role she held with pride for nearly four decades. Peg also showcased her entrepreneurial spirit by selling Karla Jordan clothes and jewelry.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Peg was deeply involved in her community. She volunteered her time as the Youth Choir Director and song leader at St. Clara’s Catholic Church. She sang at many weddings, funerals, and community events. Her commitment to service extended to her involvement in the Queen’s Committee and other Prairie Fest events, where she won the prestigious Commodore Award at the Minneapolis Aquatennial. Peg's dedication to her faith was recognized with the Bishop's Medal of Service from the Diocese of New Ulm.
Peggy was known for her vibrant personality and her love for social gatherings. She was an active member of both a Bridge Club and the Homemakers of America Club, where she formed lasting friendships and created countless memories.
Peggy Condon will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service. Peg is survived by her husband Tom and their children and spouses, as well as her grandchildren: Matt (Stephanie), Shaun (Hailey), Chyanne, Madison, Dominic, Noah, Hope, Tyler, and Lucas. Her great-grandchildren: Emmett, Ruthie, Maggie, Lucy, Rorie, Tomi, Caine, and Cobee. Peg is also survived by in-laws Ruth (Swenson) Tait, Mary Ellen (Condon) and Dennis Murphy, Paul and Becki (Williams) Condon as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Peg is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eleanor, her brothers James and Jack, her sister Mary (Tait) Moehring, and her nephew John Tait. May she rest in peace.
