Mae Anderson

Mae Lorraine Anderson was born May 13, 1941, the daughter of Bert & Sarah Christina Lalim, in Montevideo. She was baptized on June 21, 1941 and confirmed in 1955, at Wang Lutheran Church. Mae graduated from the Maynard High School in 1959. Following graduation she lived and worked for two years in Des Moines, Iowa. She returned to Minnesota where she worked as a waitress, a housekeeper, retiring from the Montevideo Hospital in 2005. Mae passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the Luther Haven Nursing Home. She was 70 years of age. Mae enjoyed going to church, playing cards, watching the Minnesota Twins and spending time with friends and family.She is survived by two sons: John (fiancé Tracy) Lalim of Tampa Bay, Florida and Michael (girlfriend Stacy) Anderson of Marshall; six grandchildren: Sarah, Matthew, Jake, Ryan, Mason, and Avery; one great grandchild Annika; siblings: Alvin Lalim of Glenwood; Donna (Darvin) Gast of Willmar; Robert (Faye) Lalim of Wood Lake; Elmer (Rochelle) Lalim of Richfield; Joyce (David) Mueller of Echo; Darlene (Tom) Eischens of Willmar; Linda (Dennis) Turnquist of La Crescent; Lyle (Connie) Lalim of Little Falls; Dale (Diane) Lalim of Maynard and Mark (Kathy) Lalim of Clara City; two sisters-in-law: Gertie Lalim of Clara City and Donna Mae Lalim of Grove City; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Bert & Christina; and four siblings: Clara, Bennie, Ruby and Kenneth.
