Mabel Hanson

Mabel Geneva Hanson passed away May 4th, 2009 in Billings, Montana. She was born September 26, 1917 in Montevideo to Gustav and Minnie [Kleven] Bakkelund. She married Clarence Hanson in 1939 and they moved to Montana. While in Montana they owned and operated an International Harvester Dealership. In 1968 they retired to Absarokee, Mt. After Clarence died in 1977, Mabel moved to Billings. She is survived by her four daughters: Constance [Richard] Krogedal, Dianne Hanson, Catherine Collins all of Billings and Venne [David] Peterson of Roundup, Mt. her sister Marjorie [Ken] Keller of Milbank, SD. 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Martin Bakkelund and one sister Helen Lehmann. She will be interred in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
