Lynn Anderson

Lynn was born on November 26, 1951, in Granite Falls. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Granite Falls Lutheran Church and graduated from high school in Granite Falls in 1969. From 1971 ? 1975, Lynn managed the Crown Restaurant in Granite Falls and from 1993 ? 2004, owned and operated A & J Auto Supply in Granite Falls. He also was involved with inside sales for 2 years with Sunsource. Lynn was a member of the Amateur Trapshoot Association and volunteered his services for many years as a member of the YME Football ?Chain Gang? and served two terms as a county commissioner for Yellow Medicine County. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed cooking, boating, reading, time on the lake and the time he was able to spend with his family. Lynn loved to have breakfast at Willie's Corner Store and go on fishing trips with Lloyd & ?The Gang?. On Friday April 9, 2010, Lynn was called from this life at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital, following an extended illness. He was 58 years of age. He is survived by his three sons- Adam Anderson, Eric Anderson and Chris Anderson; his mother- Joyce Anderson; one brother- Todd Anderson; one sister- Cory (& Warren) Hartmann; a granddaughter- Kylie Anderson and a grandson- Jett Anderson. Preceding Lynn in death was his father James; his paternal grandparents- Swede & Evelyn Anderson and his maternal grandparents- Lawrence & Christine "Babe" Brevig.
