Lucille Marvis Priebe was born November 20, 1932, the daughter of Henry & Adela (Buccholz) Noor, in Raymond, Minnesota. Lucille was the second oldest of 15 children. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Lucille attended school in Murdock. She left home in 8th grade to work as a nanny and housekeeper.
Lucille was united in marriage to Ronald Priebe at Immanuel Lutheran Church on November 30, 1957. She worked at Jennie-O’s in Willmar for many years. First and foremost, she was a loving mother, grandmother and a housewife. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, in addition to her siblings extended family and friends meant the world to her. She also enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting and her grandchildren. Lucille was a devote Christian, who was committed to many church events at Immanuel. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1972.
Lucille passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the Clara City Care Center. She was 85 years of age.
She is survived by her daughters: Lori (Jeff) Bestland of Monticello and Jan (Michael) Carlbom of Montevideo; grandchildren: Erin (Matt) Barr of Moorhead, Trent (Joni) Bestland of Sisseton, South Dakota, Connor Bestland of Monticello, Avery Carlbom of Fargo, North Dakota, Alexander Carlbom of Wright and Abigail Carlbom of Montevideo; siblings: Dorothy Skaalerud of Willmar, Bill (Dorothy) Noor of Mound, Marilyn Leuze of Willmar, Gloria (LeRoy) Bridgland of Hopkins, Ellsworth (Vicky) Noor of Bloomington, Jerry Noor of Willmar, Stanley Noor of Willmar and Kevin (Janice) Noor of Everette, Washington; sisters-in-law: LaVonne Priebe of Janesville and Cathy Noor of Hopkins; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald, daughter. Kim Priebe, siblings: Arlene (Ervin) Leuze, Bernice (Donald) Colvin, Richard Noor, Phyllis (Clarion) Junker, Roger Noor and Cheryl (Leonard) Klassen; and three brothers-in-law: Jerome Skaalerud, Donald Leuze and Donald Priebe. Blessed be her memory.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 10:30 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church and will continue on Friday one hour prior to services at the church.
