Lorraine Rohlik was born May 25, 1944 in Lincoln County, Minnesota, the daughter of Stanley and Nellie Burczyk. She passed away Monday October 6, 2008, at the Granite Falls Hospital in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Lorraine was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith and later received First Communion all at St. John's Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, Minnesota. She grew up in the Ivanhoe and Canby area, attending school at Lincoln County District 405. Lorraine graduated from Canby High School with the Class of 1962. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis and worked for Maico Hearing Instruments Inc, in Edina and continued her education at Hennepin Technical College. Lorraine moved to Granite Falls in 1970 and worked at Yellow Medicine County Bank and currently was working at the Citizens State Bank of Clara City at the Granite Falls branch. Lorraine was united in marriage to Edwin J. Rohlik on April 9, 1988 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Granite Falls, Minnesota. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Granite Falls and a member of CCW. She was also an active member of the Herb Club. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, sewing, gardening and doing hardanger. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Ed Rohlik of Granite Falls, Minnesota; brother: Ben Burczyk of Madison, Minnesota; sisters: Fran Viaene of Cottonwood, Minnesota and Leona (Jim) Hertrich of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father: Stanley Burczyk; mother: Nellie (Burczyk) Lacek, step-father: Stanley Lacek; sister: Stella Dickey, brothers: Frank Burczyk and Alex Burczyk.
