Linda had a spark, joy and zest for life and always had a positive energy. She was a mother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and a free spirit. We are all better people because of her presence in this life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, music, camping, fishing, motorcycles, reading a book cover to cover in a day, edge of her seat group texting with her siblings on college football game day, taking multiple pictures with her grandkids until they would stop making funny faces, making gravy for her son-in-law and giving her loving advice and direction to her daughter and what she meant to all the lives she touched.
Linda passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 71 years of age.
She is survived by her daughter Jeannie (Philip) Rounsville of Montevideo; grandchildren: Chase Testa and Crystal Rounsville of Montevideo and Levi Stork of Omaha, Nebraska; siblings: Donald (Ruth) Petersen of Goose Creek, South Carolina, James Petersen of Madrid, Iowa and Janice Petersen of Atlantic, Iowa; nieces and nephews: Delane Still of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Tina (Scott) Muecke of Hancock, Iowa, Aaron Petersen of Jacksonville, Florida, Lance Pedersen of Atlantic, Iowa, Steven Pedersen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Bruce (Michele) Pedersen and Cindy Pedersen of Lake City, Iowa, Lori Pedersen of Bettendorf, Iowa; and extended family and friends.
