Leslie L. Sack

Leslie Lee ‘Les’ Sack was born on January 25, 1960, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Richard W. and Marjorie S. (Fandrich) Sack. He went to school in Bismarck, ND, achieved his GED and attended college at Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown, SD. Les was a man who possessed a sense of humor and loved to laugh. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and swimming. He was a compassionate man who was always willing to help a friend in need. He loved to watch wrestling, go for walks, play volley ball and Frisbee, grill outdoors, listen to ‘80’s rock music and all types of pets and animals. Les was a friendly person, compassionate, trustworthy and sociable. At the time of his death, he was employed by Casey’s in Montevideo as a cook. He was called from this life in the early morning hours of Tuesday May 5, 2015, at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. He was 55 years of age. Surviving family include his daughters- Heather Sack of Montevideo, Amanda Sack of Cottonwood, and Jessica (& Pete) Nikrin of Ramsey, MN; step daughters- Shannon Cotterman and Susan (& Randy) Schildt both of Montevideo; his fiancé Silvana Florez of Montevideo; his sister- Wanda (& Leonard) Johnson of Cavalier, ND; uncles- Gary Fandrich, Robin (& Janine) Fandrich and Lloyd Fandrich all residing in North Dakota; 2 nephews- Josh & Daryll Johnson of North Dakota; 4 grandsons- Gregory Pence and Alexander Nikrin both of Ramsey, Brandyn Schildt and Andrew Fischer both of Montevideo; 2 granddaughters- Kyra Schmidt and Krystina Donne’ both of Montevideo; 4 great grandsons and numerous cousins, friends and extended family. Preceding Les in death were his parents and grandmother- Pauline Fandrich.
