Leonard Hogsven

Leonard Hogsven was born in Sioux Agency Township on January 25, 1916. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member of Rock Valle Church.He lived in on the family farm with his parents and siblings. After his parents passed away he lived with his sisters and their families. He was currently residing in the REM home in Granite Falls with his sister Clara.Leonard loved music, singing, playing his guitar, harmonica, harp, and accordion. He liked to build things with wood especially airplanes. He enjoyed western movies and wearing cowboy clothing.Leonard is survived by his sisters: Clara Hogsven and Orpha Nordang of Granite Falls, Minnesota; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Selmer Hogsven: sisters: Inga Wagner, Hilma Fossan, Emma Timm, and Bernell Kirschbaum. Leonard was a kind, sweet, and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory, and thank you Leonard for sharing your 94 years of life with us; it has been a privilege.
