Larry Olson

Larry Gene Olson was born on October 9, 1945 in Granite Falls, the son of LeRoy "Hoppy" and Elda Olson. He passed away December 19, 2012 at the Granite Falls Manor.Larry was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Granite Falls. He grew up and attended school in Granite Falls.Larry worked in construction and as a carpenter doing cabinetry work in and around the Granite Falls area. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Larry was known to use his scooter as a means of transportation and to check on different projects in the area. Surviving family includes his brother Roger (LuAnn) Olson of Granite Falls; nephews: Wayne (Sarah Potter) Olson of Renville; Ryan (Larissa Maurice) Olson of Granite Falls and Scott (Elsa) Olson of Kerkhoven.He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Elda; and a sister Sandra.
