Kathleen Schuller

Kathleen "Kathy" Elaine Schuller was born on January 31, 1947 in Montevideo, MN, the daughter of Russell and Ida Schuller. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Clara Catholic Church, Clara City, MN and graduated from high school in Maynard. She attended St. Cloud State College and graduated with a degree in secondary education. Kathy taught and coached at the high school in Willow River, MN. She worked for the state of Minnesota at Moose Lake and later at Virginia, MN. She retired in 2009. Since moving to Mountain Iron in 1992, she has been a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mountain Iron. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and games, especially bingo. Family and friends were important to her. Kathy passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth. She was 65 years of age. Surviving family include her mother, Ida Schuller, of Clara City, MN, her sister, Evelyn Slettedahl, of Watertown, SD, her brother, Bill, (and Nancy) of Montevideo, MN and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, her sister Carol in 2011, and her grandparents.
