Joshua Russell Baldwin was born September 3, 1989, in Minneapolis to Timothy Arthur Baldwin and Wendy Mae Russell. He was baptized in the Catholic faith and lived in Edina until he was in 8th grade. He moved to the Montevideo area and attended Lac Qui Parle Valley High School, graduating in 2008. While in high school he was active in music, football, and with his band Bullet Proof Heart. During the summers he worked for Bituminous Paving and he was currently in his 2nd year at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. Josh was a musician and composer. He was a very caring young man and will be deeply missed by those he touched. Joshua passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, the result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, in Renville County. He was 20 years, 1 month and 21 days. JoshÂ?s compassion lead him to be an organ donor and part of him will live on through his gifts. Survivors include his mother, Wendy Russell of Northfield; his father Tim Baldwin and longtime companion Toni Jean Moody of Montevideo; 3 brothers: Matt Moody, Mike Moody and Christopher Baldwin; 2 sisters: Amanda Greener and Julia Russell; his grandparents and their spouses: Arthur Baldwin of Princeton, Gail Baldwin of Montevideo, Bruce Russell and wife Karen of Waverly, Wanda Whiting and husband David of Lewiston, Michigan; uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by 2 uncles.
