Jose Rios

Jose Manuel Rios was born on March 17, 1960, in Progresso, TX, the son of Francisco and Maria (Romero) Rios. He graduated from high school and has been a resident of Boyd, MN for the past several years.
Jose was an excellent auto mechanic and had a strong passion for fixing and repairing all types of vehicles. He loved going cruising with his children and listening to Tejano music. Jose was an eloquent speaker and had a terrific sense of humor. He enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed grilling and took great pride in passing these traits down to his sons and family. He lived his life by the words from his favorite movie- ‘A toda madre oh un desmadre’. Jose was a good man, a hard worker and a loving father.
On Monday March 19, 2018, Jose was called from this life while in the presence of family at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 58 years of age.
He is survived by his 7 children- Maria Isabel Rios, Jose Manuel Rios, Jr., Amber Rios, Roberto Rios, Christopher Rios, Rogelio Roy Rios and Lee Angel Rios; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; 19 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
