Jordan Olson

Jordan Michael Olson was born on Sunday, November 8, 1981 in Willmar, Minnesota to Rodney Duane and Joy Arlene (Peterson) Olson. He passed away September 26, 2009 at his home in rural Milan, Minnesota.Jordan was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Kviteseid Lutheran Church. He grew up and attended school in the Milan area graduating from Lac Qui Parle High School with the class of 2000. He worked at Friendship Homes in Montevideo and stayed active playing softball. Jordan was a phenomenal artist who could draw anything and enjoyed deer hunting and woodworking. He especially loved spending time with his son Chance, with whom he shared a special bond.Jordan is survived by his parents: Rod and Joy of Milan, son: Chance Olson of Boyd, siblings: Joshua (Maigan) Olson of Montevideo, Amanda (Ben Vaala) Olson of Milan, G.W. Olson of Milan; grandmother: Arlene Peterson of Maynard, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gerhard Peterson and Walter and Mardelle Olson.
