Johnathan Reed, 33, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, in Rochester. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday July 6th at 2 pm at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
Johnathan Roy Reed was born September 14, 1988, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Mark Reed and Jennifer Neri. When he was 6 years old, he moved to Minnesota with his father and grandma.
He attended school at GFW. He loved collecting baseball cards, Pokémon cards and playing video games. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He enjoyed visiting thrift stores, antiquing, camping, fishing and carving wood.
He is survived by his dad Mark (Jennifer Kodet) Reed, mother Jennifer (Billy Tates) Neri, brother Nathan Reed and sister Emma Reed; grandparents Hank (Samara) Neri, Penny Neri; aunts and uncles: Cheryl (Bill) Stoll and their children: Barrett Stoll, Brad Stoll, Bryan Stoll & Kathy Stoll; Craig (Shelly Walz) Reed and their kids: Kayla Reich, Ali Kasdorf, Chance Reed, Cayleign Reed and Maddison Reed; Aunt Johanna Gillman, cousin Timothy Gilliam; special friend Amelia Severson; step grandfather Tom Kodet; step aunts and uncle: Jessica (Chris) Lessman, Juliann (Jesse) Ellingson and Tommy Kodet; half siblings: Braedyn Matthew Neri and Nicholas Eugene Simpson; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Betty Reed; uncle Michael Todd Reed, step grandma Donna Kodet, uncle Steven Gillam and great grandparents: Miriam Reed Johnson, Alfred Roy Reed, Gina Neri Johnson and Jim Johnson.
