Jeffrey Cole

Jeffrey Curtis Cole was born on February 10, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Donald J. and Lucia (Jackson) Cole. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith, grew up and attended high school in Ohio.
As a young man, Jeff enjoyed spending time in the lake country of northern Michigan, where he loved sail boating and water skiing. He was united in marriage to Debra K. Tvedt and together, they both enjoyed traveling and camping. He also liked to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes football games and especially liked watching the news and keeping up on current events. His favorite television show was ‘The Kool Kids’.
Jeff was a carpenter by trade and personally completed the wood siding on their house in Big Bend, MN.
He passed away on Wed. Jan 23 at his residence, in the loving presence of his trusted companion, Peanut. He was 55 years of age.
Surviving Jeff are his wife Debra; his children Perris Cole & Jeffrey Cole; his siblings Lisa Tiemen, Teresa Mowery, Diana Topping and Donnie Cole; step-children Michael Boutin and Arianne Smith and her husband, Shawn; step grandchildren Lucas Smith, Tripp Smith and Carson Smith; numerous nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Colleen Erxleben and Laura Gerbert.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 1:30PM at Big Bend Lutheran Church. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the church.
