Jeanette Prill

Jeanette Ardis Prill was born July 5, 1937, the daughter of Edward & Pauline (Schultz) Prill, in Long Prairie. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from the Long Prairie High School. Following graduation Jeanette moved to Minneapolis and worked as a bank bookkeeper for a number of years. She returned to Granite Falls where she started a housekeeping business.
Jeanette was involved with the Birthday Club and the Red Hats. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and embroidery. She loved to bake and her favorites were ginger snaps and brownies. Jeanette was family oriented and was always taking care of the family children as well as her sister and brother-in-law in the later years. When spending time with her friends they enjoyed shopping, visits to the casino and going to the movies.
Jeanette passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Granite Manor. She was 79 years of age.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Irene Prill of Long Prairie; nieces and nephews: Loyann (Don) Anderson of Delano; Reeva (Sam) Lodermeier of Delano; Alida (Sean) Flynn of Granite Falls; Tom (Cindy) Prill of Albany; Leanda (Gordy) Lien of Minot, North Dakota; Joe Prill of Long Prairie; John (Sue) Prill of Long Prairie and Jill (Scott) Hillman of Long Prairie; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Eddie Jr; sister Sylvia Scott; brother-in-law Scotty “Doc” Scott and great nephew Kelly Flynn.
