James Pedlar

James Frederick Pedlar

Jim passed away April 9, 2025, at Chippawa County Hospital at the age of 82. He was born on February 15, 1943, to Fred & Leona Pedlar in Montevideo, MN. Jim attended the Owatonna State School after which he lived at home with his parents.

He kept busy with cleaning several businesses and worked at C.E.I. He enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and won a metal In the Broad Jump. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Jim liked to play cards and board games, but the Twins and the Vikings were his love. He had a special gift of knowing the batting averages of many Major League baseball players. He would read the entire newspaper while watching television.

Surviving Jim are his sisters, Audrey Sterriker of St. Cloud, MN, and her son Brian (Angie) Sterriker of Monticello, MN, Margaret Molden and her husband Delmont Molden of Portage, WI, their children Nicole (Mike) Nelson of Woodbridge, VA, Angela Pace of Portage, WI, and Brock (Ann)Molden of Sauk Prairie, WI, along with 16 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Montevideo on Saturday, May 3, at 1:00 pm. Visitation is at 12:00 noon until the time of service.
