James Mcdeid Jr.

He was born to Rose and James McDeid, Sr. on November 11th, 1928 in Mankato, Minnesota. Jim married Virginia Anspach and over the years, the two of them were well known for their beautiful, bountiful gardens. Jim also loved working on old cars. After Virginia’s death in 2007, Jim remained at home with the help of family and friends. Due to failing health, he moved to Luther Haven in April of 2013. He is survived by his sisters Margie Syring and Lois Lindsey; Sue Armstrong, his long-time care giver; as well as his nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents: James, Sr. and Rose McDeid, his wife Virginia and two brothers.
