James Fluto

James Curtis Fluto was born August 22, 1939 in Breckenridge. James was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Wyndmere Lutheran Church in Wyndmere, North Dakota. He grew up and attended school in Wyndmere, North Dakota. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961 and after his honorable discharge remained in the Navy reserve until 1963.James was united in marriage to Marlys Ross in 1968 at Gethsemane Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To this union three children were born. They made their home in Granite Falls, Minnesota where James worked as a shipping clerk for Victor Fluid Power.He enjoyed playing softball, fishing, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and loved going on family vacations, and spending time with his family and friends especially during birthdays and holidays.James is survived by his wife Marlys Fluto; children: Robert Fluto, Michelle (Billy)Jackson, grandsons: Anthony, Alexander, and Aaron Fluto, Sister: Lois Waldera, brothers: Don (Kathy) Fluto, Marvin (Diane) Fluto; mother Iris Fluto; special aunt: Carolyn Schommer; and many nieces and nephews.
